The French Band Caravan Palace revives Jazz

Caravan Palace are a French Jazz Swing Band formed in 2005. I discovered them a few years ago.

What is special about this band is their talent to make the old new.

They modernize the jazz swing style with a touch of electro sounds. The result is amazing. When you listen to their music it makes you want to dance or at least you feel good vibes! The band became famous in France via internet after several demo singles. "Jolie Coquine" is one of their first single, you can listen to it here.

Hugues Payen, violin player
From 2006 to 2007, they were touring in France and did their first ever concert during the Django Reinhardt Jazz Festival in 2007.
Colotis Zoé, singer

They are going to play in Los Angeles on the 16th
of July 2012! You can follow them on twitter and tumblon here.
To finish a video of one their amazing performance.

Arnaud Vial, guitarist, keyboard; Charles Delaporte double bass player; Hugues Payen violin player, keyboard, scat; Antoine Toustou trombone player, Colotis Zoé singer, Camille Chapellière clarinet; Paul-Marie Barbier : Percussionist, vibes player.
